What the measurements determine is explained in the Measurements and part families section. For items you do not buy from a manufacturer, see the Local sellers and manufacturing services and Ordering from abroad sections.
Measurements and part families
Each of the manufacturers named in 0.7 designs its own parts to connect to each other. Hole spacing, shaft shape and bolt size repeat across that company's product line, so parts that are meant to fit together come with the same measurements. The measurements of each family are listed separately under the manufacturer headings below.
Here is a short summary of what each measurement determines. Hole diameter and the distance between holes are two separate measurements. Both affect whether two parts can be joined with the same bolt. The size and cross-section of a shaft determine which hub and bearing fit on it. On a belt or chain, the tooth profile and the pitch must match the pulley or sprocket, and the width is chosen to fit what the pulley accepts. Also check whether the product measurements are given in metric or inches.
One match shows how this check works. When you buy a shaft, you also look at the inner shape of the hub and bearing that will go on it. REV's 5 mm hex shaft and goBILDA's 8 mm REX shaft do not take the same hub. Measurements being close is not enough either: a 9.525 millimeter shaft does not go into an 8 millimeter bore. That is why the technical drawing and the measurement table on the product page are the real places to look. Two bearings that look alike in a photo can have different inner diameters.
There is one more check on the same page. The package contents tell you how much of the product comes in the box. Buying a chassis does not mean the motors, control board and battery are included in that package. When you buy wheels, the same section tells you whether the hub and bolts come with them. When you add a package to your list, you subtract what is inside it from what you still need.
On the electronics side, matching measurements is not enough. If a product's cables can plug into your robot, that does not mean it is legal under the season rules. For motors, servos, batteries and control boards, you also read the allowed lists and technical limits in that season's Competition Manual. These parts are introduced in the 0.8 Introduction to electronic parts lesson, and the binding source is the 2026-27 Competition Manual itself.
Manufacturers
The companies below are names that FTC teams have come across so far. The list does not cover every manufacturer. If you make or import FTC parts in Türkiye and you do not see your name here, even if you are a newly formed group, write to us and we will add you to the list.
REV Robotics
REV makes the electronics you are required to use on your robot. The Control Hub is the robot's brain, the Expansion Hub extends it, and the Driver Hub is on the driver's side. All three are REV products, and the control setup the competition allows is built on this family. The same catalog also has motors, servos, sensors, the robot battery and the charger, and you can find structure parts here too. The structure side is called REV DUO, its own profile and connection family. The sensors and electronics are also used on robots outside the DUO family, but the structure measurements apply only to DUO.
- The structure family is built on 15 mm aluminum profile, with bracket holes spaced 8 mm apart.
- The shaft is 5 mm hex, and the bolts are M3.
- For gears, you will see MOD 0.75 on the plastic side and MOD 0.8 on the metal side.
- For chain it uses #25 chain, which is common in FTC, and for belts it uses the HTD profile.
The Control Hub page has two separate products: the board sold on its own, and the control kit that comes with the board plus a battery, cables and a switch. Depending on which one you buy, you may need to order the cables and battery separately.
You can order its products internationally from its own website, but the total in your cart is not the final amount you will pay. Its published shipping policy says international orders can take up to three business days to prepare, and that taxes and customs charges on import are paid by the buyer. Orders with batteries also have a shipping restriction: orders that contain lithium batteries are not sent abroad by post. How this works is explained in the Ordering from abroad section below. revrobotics.com · Shipping policy · Battery care document
goBILDA
Most teams abroad that want to build their robot on a ready-made ecosystem choose goBILDA. On the mechanical side, it brings channel, plates, shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys, wheels, spacers and shaft collars together in one family. Yellow Jacket motors, servos, odometry pods and the Pinpoint board are here too.
- The hole pattern is built on a grid with 8 mm spacing.
- The shaft is 8 mm REX, and the bolts are mostly M4, with M3 on small parts.
- In gear packs you will see MOD 0.8.
- For belts it uses HTD 3 and HTD 5, and these profiles are from the same family as REV pulleys.
- Its chain has an 8 mm pitch, which means it does not fit the same sprocket as #25 chain.
A REX shaft has a cross-section that combines an 8 mm round with a 7 mm hex. For a hub that goes on the shaft, you check this shape. For a bearing, you check that the product's inner size matches the shaft. When you buy wheels, check whether the product is a single wheel or a set. In mecanum sets, both the right and left wheels need to be in the contents. On the Pinpoint side, the board on its own and the package with the pods and cables are separate products.
For the robot battery, REV and goBILDA are the two common options. Their shapes are a little different, and teams generally find goBILDA batteries to be of higher quality.
You can order its products internationally from its own website. gobilda.com
NFR Products
In 2024, at Türkiye's first FTC event, it was one of the official chassis manufacturers, and half of the kits given to teams came with an NFR chassis. Today it sells various wheels including mecanum and omni, profile and structure parts, and chassis kits.
- Its products are metric, and 100 mm wheels and 5 mm hex shaft are on the product list.
- Its own structure standard has a hole spacing of 12.5 mm.
Products in stock are processed after payment is received, while products that need custom production are made and shipped within about a week. For product measurements and orders, contact Mehmet Ali Uçar, +90 531 279 46 82. nfrproducts.com · Delivery terms · WhatsApp
Wattos Otomasyon
Wattos was also one of the official chassis manufacturers at the first FTC event in 2024, and the other half of the kits came with its chassis. On the mechanical side it sells chassis kits, mecanum wheels and hex shaft, and on the electronics side it sells motors and batteries.
The Stingray WDM12 motor is on the allowed motor list in the 2026-27 season's Competition Manual, and the battery it sells is also FTC compatible and legal. Buying the robot's main battery and motors here instead of importing them from abroad is a route Turkish teams prefer. It also makes parts for other competitions, and you can look at them on the website or ask directly.

Robopiece
When FTC first came to Türkiye, Robopiece worked on the field side. At the first event in 2024, Robopiece produced the fields the teams played on. Today they make the field perimeter, meaning the walls around the field, the field floor and that season's game pieces. They do not make season-specific themed field elements. It is a place to ask if your team wants to set up its own field, or buy a floor, perimeter and game pieces for practice.
Field parts do not connect to the robot's structure family, the field is built to its own measurements. When you buy game pieces, the thing to check is which season they belong to, because game pieces change every season. For the field perimeter, floor and game pieces, contact Çağrı Sağlam, +90 543 887 08 40. robopiece.com · WhatsApp
Probot Studio
We are the team that made this guide. Probot Studio's founders include former founders of NFR, and we currently work within İTÜ Çekirdek (Istanbul Technical University's startup incubator). On the FTC side we make a tank chassis and a telescopic mechanism.
- Our own structure standard has a hole spacing of 10 mm.
- This standard does not line up directly with other manufacturers' hole patterns, so we have adapters that connect to other manufacturers' parts.
- Product measurements and package contents are on the shop page.
Beyond that, we have our own ecosystem: our own control board, our mechanical structure standards, our Builder app where you can design with these standards, and our software library, all in one place. We build this side not for FTC, but for teams that develop robots for other competitions, such as MEB's Tasarla Geliştir (Design and Develop) competition. If you have any questions, you can ask Tuna Gül, +90 538 040 81 48. On the mechanical side of our products, Yiğit Çerçi, +90 553 352 61 67, and Hüseyin Çağlayan, +90 544 445 32 81, provide support. Tuna Gül · Yiğit Çerçi · Hüseyin Çağlayan
There are other manufacturers of robot parts too. You can look at different part and kit options on the AndyMark, TETRIX and Studica websites.
Local sellers and manufacturing services
Not every part you need has to come from an FTC manufacturer. The items below can be found at general sellers in Türkiye.
- Bolts, nuts and washers. Fastener wholesalers. If you work with REV DUO and goBILDA parts, the sizes you need are M3 and M4. In inch families, the bolt thread is in inches too. Tell the seller the measurement system, the diameter and the length together.
- Bearings. Bearing dealers. Standard bearings with round holes are found here, and you search for them by inner size, outer size and thickness.
- Aluminum profile. Sigma profile sellers. You can also have it cut to the length you want.
- Belts. Belt sellers in the industrial districts. Ask by giving the tooth profile, tooth pitch, width and length together.
- Limit switches. Electronic component sellers. Micro switches with a lever are found here. They are not the same product as the FTC sensor board that comes with a ready-made cable, so you work out the hub connection yourself.
- Distance and color sensor modules. The same electronics sellers. Even if the sensing chip is the same as on the ready-made FTC board, the product is not a direct drop-in replacement for it. Confirm its connection and software support before you buy.
- Sheet cutting. Cutting workshops. The sheet material and thickness are chosen based on where the part will be mounted. Ask the workshop which cutting method suits that material.
- 3D printing. Pulleys and some gears can be printed with a suitable design. Whether the result works depends on the load the part will carry.
Shafts with special cross-sections, and the bearings that fit those shafts, are not on this list. You will not find them at every seller like an ordinary round shaft, so it takes less time to look for them at FTC manufacturers.
Ordering from abroad
When you cannot find a product in Türkiye, your order goes abroad. There are two routes here: buying the product from the manufacturer's own website, or buying it from a company that brings that product into Türkiye. The biggest difference between them is who handles customs. When you buy from an importing company, the product has already cleared customs. When you order directly, you and the shipping company handle that work. Company-specific times are in the manufacturer headings above. The points below apply to both routes.
- The total in your cart is not the final amount you will pay. On top of the product price come international shipping, taxes due on import, and the shipping company's customs clearance service fee. REV's own shipping policy says these items are paid by the buyer and are collected at delivery by the shipping company or the customs authority. If you build your budget on the product price, the difference shows up at delivery.
- What happens at customs. When the shipment reaches Türkiye, a customs declaration is made, and the tax is calculated on the product price plus the shipping cost. Express shipping companies make this declaration themselves on behalf of the buyer for most shipments, and they charge a separate fee for it. Exemption limits and tax rates change from time to time, so ask the shipping company about the current situation before you order.
- Whose name the shipment comes in. A shipment in a person's name does not go through the same process as one in the name of a school, an association or a company. If your team belongs to an institution, agree in advance on which name the purchase will be made under. At customs you may be asked for an invoice, ID or tax information, and if the documents are not ready, the shipment waits.
- Batteries are a separate item in shipping. REV does not send orders containing lithium batteries abroad by post, and it leaves it to the buyer to check whether the shipment meets the restrictions of the destination country. Buying the battery in Türkiye saves time on this item.
- The times are not the same thing. Waiting for stock, preparing the order, transport and customs each take their own time. The ship-out time a company gives does not mean the delivery time. Delays from customs inspection are also out of the seller's hands.
- If you buy from an importing company. Ask the seller whether transport and customs are included in the quote. If an item is not shown in the quote, it comes up at delivery.
- Bringing parts in a suitcase. Teams that go to the championship can bring a small number of parts back with them. This guide does not make a recommendation on this.
Once the parts are in your hands, you also need time to assemble and test them.
